Please read carefully. These Terms include a binding arbitration clause (Section 20), a class action waiver (Section 20.3), limitations on liability (Sections 17–18), and a strict 18+ age requirement. By using Movas, you agree to these Terms in full.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Movas ("we," "our," or "us") governing your access to and use of the Movas mobile application and all related features and services (collectively, the "Service"). Movas is a global local life explorer that helps users discover food, coffee, museums, parks, hotels, attractions, restrooms, and other nearby places; browse and contribute community recommendations; use the Food Wheel to help decide what to eat; and share and draw ideas through the Thought Blind Box. By registering for or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

01
Chapter One
Acceptance of Terms
1.1 — Binding Agreement

By downloading, installing, registering for, or using any part of the Service, you enter into a legally binding contract with Movas effective as of the date of your first access.

1.2 — Incorporated Documents

These Terms incorporate by reference our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and any other policies we publish within the Service. In any conflict, these Terms shall prevail unless a supplementary policy expressly governs a specific subject matter.

1.3 — Language

These Terms are drafted in English, which is the controlling language. Any translation is for convenience only; in any inconsistency, the English version governs.

02
Chapter Two
Eligibility & Registration
2.1 — Age Requirement

The Service is available exclusively to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18. We reserve the right to immediately terminate any account where we have reasonable grounds to believe the holder is under 18, without prior notice or liability.

2.2 — Accurate Registration

You agree to provide truthful, current, and complete registration information, including your real date of birth. Providing false information to circumvent the age restriction is a material breach of these Terms and grounds for immediate permanent account termination.

2.3 — One Account Per User

Each individual may maintain only one active Movas account. Creating duplicate accounts to evade bans, suspensions, or enforcement actions is prohibited and may result in permanent termination of all associated accounts.

2.4 — Third-Party Sign-In

You may register via Apple Sign-In or Google. By doing so, you authorize Movas to receive limited profile information from those providers as permitted by your consent settings, subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

2.5 — Geographic Availability

The Service may not be available or fully functional in all jurisdictions. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with the laws of your country of residence.

03
Chapter Three
Account Security
3.1 — Credential Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Do not share your password with any third party. Movas will never request your password through any communication channel.

3.2 — Unauthorized Use

Notify us promptly at service@movas.blog if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Movas is not liable for losses arising from unauthorized use prior to your notification.

3.3 — Account Responsibility

You are fully responsible for all activity occurring through your account, including all recommendations posted, community content submitted, and purchases made, whether or not personally initiated by you.

04
Chapter Four
The Service
4.1 — What Movas Offers

Movas is a local life explorer app providing:

  • Category-based place discovery across food, coffee, parks, museums, hotels, attractions, restrooms, and additional local life categories
  • An in-app map for browsing nearby places visually
  • Nearby-first sorting and recommendation surfacing where location access is granted
  • Personal saved places, favorites, visited markers, and custom lists
  • Community recommendations, reviews, photos, and tips from other users
  • A Food Wheel decision-making tool for when you can't decide what to eat
  • A Thought Blind Box community feature for anonymously sharing and drawing ideas
  • Following, commenting, and reacting to other users' recommendations
  • In-app purchases for optional premium features
4.2 — Service Availability

We strive for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, infrastructure issues, or events beyond our reasonable control.

4.3 — Service Evolution

Movas is continuously developed. We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We will provide reasonable advance notice of material changes affecting your use of the Service.

05
Chapter Five
Place Data & Accuracy Disclaimer
5.1 — Sources of Place Information

Movas's place data comes from a combination of curated data, community contributions, and third-party place data providers. Information may include place name, address, category tags, general hours, and community-added notes and photos.

5.2 — Community-Driven, Not Verified
Movas is a community-driven discovery platform. We do not independently verify or endorse third-party places or community contributions. Place information — including hours of operation, prices, menu items, accessibility, whether a place is still open, or the accuracy of restroom availability — may not always be current. Always confirm important details with the establishment directly before visiting.
5.3 — No Endorsement of Places

Inclusion of a place in Movas's database is not an endorsement or recommendation by Movas of that place. Movas is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or a representative of the places listed in the Service unless expressly stated.

5.4 — Your Own Judgment

You are responsible for exercising your own judgment when visiting places discovered through Movas. Consider factors such as your personal safety, accessibility needs, local conditions, and any applicable travel guidance before visiting.

06
Chapter Six
Food Wheel & Thought Blind Box
6.1 — Food Wheel Purpose

The Food Wheel is a decision-making tool intended to help you choose what to eat when you're undecided. Results are randomized based on available places matching your general preferences and location context. Results are illustrative suggestions, not guaranteed recommendations.

6.2 — No Guarantee of Food Wheel Results
Movas does not guarantee any particular Food Wheel outcome — that a suggested restaurant will be open, available, to your taste, allergen-safe, or a good choice for your circumstances. All Food Wheel suggestions are for entertainment and inspiration; you are responsible for confirming details and making the final decision on where to eat.
6.3 — Thought Blind Box Purpose

The Thought Blind Box is a community feature where users may share brief thoughts, moods, or ideas anonymously, and others may draw a random idea from the box for inspiration. It is intended as a low-pressure, playful way to exchange perspectives.

6.4 — Blind Box Anonymity in Display, Not in Moderation
Thoughts you submit to the Blind Box are displayed to other users without your display name attached by default. However, this display anonymity does not exempt content from moderation. All Blind Box submissions remain subject to our Community Guidelines and may be reviewed by our safety team, associated with your account internally for enforcement purposes, and reported to authorities where required by law.
6.5 — Blind Box Content Standards

Blind Box submissions must not contain harassment, sexual content, hate speech, violent content, personal information about identifiable third parties, commercial promotion, spam, or CSAE-related material. Prohibited submissions are removed and may result in account enforcement.

6.6 — Ideas as Inspiration, Not Advice

Thoughts and ideas drawn from the Blind Box are shared by other users and represent their personal perspectives. They are not professional advice, endorsements, or verified facts. Use them as inspiration or reflection material, not as substitutes for expert guidance where such guidance is appropriate.

07
Chapter Seven
User-Generated Content
7.1 — Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all content you publish or submit through the Service, including place recommendations, reviews, ratings, photos, tips, community posts, Blind Box submissions, and comments. By submitting content, you represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights to it and that it complies with these Terms and all applicable laws.

7.2 — License Grant

By publishing UGC publicly on Movas, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your content within the Service and in connection with promoting Movas, subject to your visibility settings. You retain ownership of all original content you create.

7.3 — No Fake Reviews or Inflated Ratings
You may not post fake reviews, artificially inflate or deflate ratings, or coordinate with others to distort place reputations. This includes reviews you were paid to write, reviews of places you never actually visited, and reviews written to damage competitors. Violations result in immediate content removal and may result in account termination.
7.4 — Photo Content Standards

Photos uploaded to Movas must depict places, food, or scenes relevant to a recommendation. They must not include identifiable people without their consent, offensive content, or content violating our Community Guidelines.

7.5 — Content Deletion

You may delete your published UGC at any time. Deleted content is removed from public view within 48 hours, from production servers within 30 days, and from backup archives within 90 days.

08
Chapter Eight
Community Standards
8.1 — The Movas Spirit

Movas is designed as a helpful, welcoming discovery platform. Community members are asked to engage constructively — sharing genuine recommendations, giving honest feedback, and respecting fellow explorers.

8.2 — No Harassment or Abuse

You may not use Movas to harass, bully, threaten, or target any individual through comments, reviews, community posts, or Blind Box submissions. Violations result in immediate enforcement action and may be reported to law enforcement.

8.3 — No Hate Speech

Content promoting hatred or discrimination against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic is strictly prohibited.

8.4 — Respect for Places and Their Staff
Recommendations and reviews should focus on your experience and the place itself. Personal attacks on individual staff members by name, defamatory allegations, or content targeting protected characteristics are prohibited. Constructive criticism of service or product is welcome; personal harassment of workers is not.
8.5 — Respect for Other Users' Recommendations

You may disagree with other users' opinions on places, but engaging with them must remain respectful. Trolling, dismissive attacks, or coordinated harassment of users whose taste differs from yours violates these Terms.

8.6 — No Spam or Solicitation

You may not use Movas to post spam, unsolicited commercial messages, or unauthorized promotions. Business owners promoting their own establishments must disclose that relationship transparently; covert self-promotion is prohibited.

09
Chapter Nine
Intellectual Property
9.1 — Movas's Property

All rights, title, and interest in the Service — including the Movas name, logo, application design, interface, software, place database structure, Food Wheel mechanism, Thought Blind Box feature, and all proprietary technology — are owned by or licensed to Movas and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

9.2 — Third-Party Data

Certain place data, mapping information, and imagery are provided by third-party providers under license. These materials are protected by their respective licensors' intellectual property rights, and your use is subject to their terms.

9.3 — Your UGC

You retain ownership of your original recommendations, reviews, and photos, subject to the license grant in Section 7.2. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your original UGC to Movas.

9.4 — Feedback

If you submit ideas, suggestions, or feedback about the Service, you agree that Movas may use such feedback freely without obligation. You assign to Movas all intellectual property rights in such feedback to the extent assignable under applicable law.

9.5 — Copyright Notices

If you believe content on Movas infringes your copyright, email service@movas.blog with subject "Copyright Notice" including identification of the protected work, identification and location of the allegedly infringing content, your contact details, a good-faith belief statement, and a declaration of accuracy and authority.

10
Chapter Ten
Child Safety & CSAE Policy
10.1 — Age Restriction

Movas is exclusively for users 18 years of age or older. We implement date-of-birth verification at registration and apply detection measures to accounts suspected of being operated by minors. Confirmed underage accounts are immediately and permanently terminated with all associated data deleted.

10.2 — Parental Notification

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor has created a Movas account, contact us immediately at service@movas.blog. We will investigate and, where confirmed, permanently delete the account and all associated data without delay.

10.3 — Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)
Zero tolerance — absolute and without exception. Movas enforces an unconditional zero-tolerance policy toward any content, conduct, or activity that constitutes, facilitates, promotes, or glorifies Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) in any form. Prohibited conduct includes without limitation: child sexual abuse material (CSAM); grooming, solicitation, or exploitation of individuals under 18; and any content depicting, targeting, or endangering persons under 18.

We deploy automated CSAM hash-matching on all uploaded media, AI-assisted content analysis on community posts and Blind Box submissions, and dedicated human safety reviewers. Upon confirmed detection or credible report: all associated content is immediately and permanently removed; the responsible account is permanently terminated and all associated identifiers are blocked; a mandatory report is filed with the NCMEC CyberTipline or the legally required equivalent national authority; and we cooperate fully with all resulting law enforcement investigations. CSAE-related terminations carry no right of appeal.

To report: use the in-app Report function on any content or user profile, or email service@movas.blog immediately with subject "CSAE Report." These are our highest-priority safety matter, actioned without delay.
11
Chapter Eleven
License to Use the Service
11.1 — Limited License

Subject to your full and continued compliance with these Terms, Movas grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited license to install and use the Movas application on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use to access the Service as intended.

11.2 — Restrictions

This license does not include any right to: sublicense, resell, or commercially exploit the Service; copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the Service; scrape or systematically extract place data or community content; reverse engineer or disassemble any part of the Service; access the Service via automated means including bots or scrapers; or circumvent any security or access control feature.

11.3 — Reservation of Rights

All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Movas. Unauthorized use terminates your license and may expose you to legal liability.

12
Chapter Twelve
In-App Purchases
12.1 — Payment Processing

All in-app purchases are processed exclusively through Apple App Store or Google Play. Movas does not store your payment card details. We receive only anonymized transaction confirmation tokens and entitlement data.

12.2 — Premium Features

If Movas offers premium features (such as advanced discovery tools, personalized recommendation upgrades, ad-free experience, or expanded lists): (a) access is non-transferable between accounts; (b) non-refundable except as required by applicable law or app store policy; (c) may be discontinued with reasonable advance notice; and (d) may be forfeited upon account termination for cause.

12.3 — Subscriptions

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal via App Store or Google Play account settings.

12.4 — No Refund Obligations

Except as required by applicable law or app store policies, all digital content sales and premium feature purchases are final. Refund requests must be directed to the relevant app store platform.

13
Chapter Thirteen
Third-Party Services
13.1 — Mapping & Place Data

Movas uses third-party mapping services and place data providers. Your use of map and place features is subject to those providers' terms in addition to these Terms.

13.2 — External Navigation

Tapping "Get Directions" or similar controls may redirect you to a third-party navigation app. Once you leave the Movas app, you are subject to that third party's terms and privacy practices; Movas is not responsible for external navigation apps.

13.3 — External Links

The Service may contain links to external resources (place websites, booking platforms, etc.). Movas is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of any third-party site.

13.4 — App Store Platform Terms

Use of Movas from the Apple App Store is additionally subject to Apple's App Store Terms. From Google Play, additionally subject to Google Play's Terms. In any conflict, the applicable platform's terms prevail for platform-specific matters.

14

  • Submit Blind Box thoughts containing prohibited content (harassment, hate speech, sexual content, personal info about others)
  • Impersonate any person, business, or Movas representative
  • Scrape, extract, or systematically collect place data or community recommendations

15
Chapter Fifteen
Content Moderation
15.1 — Moderation Rights

Movas reserves the right, but not the obligation, to review, moderate, remove, or take action on any content or user behavior at any time, in its sole discretion, without prior notice. Moderation uses automated screening and human review guided by these Terms and our Community Guidelines.

15.2 — User Reporting

You may report any content or user that appears to violate these Terms using the in-app Report function. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. Submitting false or malicious reports is a Terms violation and may result in enforcement action against the reporting account.

15.3 — Enforcement Actions

Violations may result in: a warning; content removal; temporary feature restrictions; temporary account suspension; or permanent account termination. Severity is calibrated to the nature and seriousness of the violation. For CSAE violations or severe illegal conduct, immediate permanent termination and law enforcement referral occur without warning or appeal.

15.4 — Appeals

For enforcement actions not involving CSAE or illegal content, email service@movas.blog with subject "Enforcement Appeal" providing relevant details. We review appeals in good faith. CSAE-related terminations carry no right of appeal.

Where applicable law does not permit certain caps, Movas's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.

19.1 — Your Obligations

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Movas and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your content; (c) your breach of these Terms; (d) your violation of applicable law; (e) your infringement of any third-party right; or (f) any defamation, harassment, or harm caused to other users or to places or their staff through your conduct on the platform.

20.2 — Binding Individual Arbitration

Except for small claims court matters and except where prohibited by applicable law, all disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by a recognized arbitral institution in the jurisdiction of Movas's principal place of business. The arbitrator's decision is final and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.

20.3 — Class Action Waiver
